System Design


Security system design is both an art and a science. Security system design combines intuition, innovation, knowledge, and experience. A good security systems designer sees opportunities for innovation and efficiencies that others miss.

TRUSYS uses experienced professionals who have years of experience in system integration, deployments, and installation. We leverage expertise of infrastructure, electrical, and network engineers with credentials such as:

  • Registered Communications Distribution Designer (RCDD)

  • Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP)

  • Cisco Certified Internetwork Expert (CCIE)

  • Professional Engineer (PE)

  • Physical Security Professional (PSP)

TRUSYS uses a proven process to develop security system design information, specifications, and CAD drawings for use in the implementation of security technology. Our checklist approach helps ensure that every design is quality controlled to communicate the design intent to the security contractor and enable the consultant/engineer to coordinate plans with the architect, electrical engineer, IT, and other trades that may not be contracted yet. Only experts in security will ensure that all other parties provision for security system needs.  Keeping documentation in the hands of the owner, not the contractor helps ensure that as-builts are completed and archived properly for future use.
